Utah’s Water Route
Utah has many reservoirs, lakes, rivers, and streams along major routes throughout the state, but none stand out quite as much as state routes 40 and 191 from Heber Valley to Flaming Gorge.
The route consists of five state parks, one national recreation area, and one of Utah’s premier fisheries.
The list includes the following
– Jordanelle State Park
– Deer Creek State Park
– Strawberry Reservoir
– Fred Hays State Park at Starvation
– Steinaker State Park
– Red Fleet State Park
– Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area
In addition, the Green River runs through this region that offers excellent fishing and one of Utah’s best rafting opportunities.
