Utah State Parks & Recreation
Whether you prefer stunning red rock trails, snow-capped mountains, or lush green trees, there is a little bit of something for everybody here in Utah. Our 46 state parks and recreation areas each offer unique opportunities for anyone with a desire to get outside and #ExploreUtah.
Recreation Areas
Utah’s parks are the perfect place to enjoy your favorite recreational activities and there are options available for those of all backgrounds and skill levels. So, whether you prefer boating, golfing, camping, hiking, ATV riding, canoeing, photography or just exploring new places, Utah State Parks has a place for you.
Historic Places
While you’re here, don’t forget to stop by one of the heritage park museums and take a glimpse into Utah’s rich history. These offer visitors a glimpse back into Utah’s past. These aren’t your typical museums. Come learn how to weave traditional Native American blankets or participate in one of the atlatl throwing events. History can be fun!
Please remember, your safety is our main concern. So, if you are on the water, please wear your life jacket, and if you’re riding out on the trail, don’t forget to wear your helmet.
