Logan Canyon

Logan Canyon

Logan Canyon National Scenic Byway is 41 miles of scenic beauty, adventure, and recreation that follows the Logan River along U.S. 89 from Logan to Garden City at Bear Lake. This is our favorite route to Jackson Hole, and like Highway 12 in our Mighty 5 and Grand Circle tours in southern Utah, it’s as much a destination as it is a scenic route with so many recreation areas, attractions, and points of interest along the way. Add this drive to your list of Fall drives, it consistently makes our top list of places to visit when the leaves change. You can learn more about Logan Canyon by clicking here and by visiting the map below.

The Arts

There’s no shortage of talent in Logan. It has its own opera company, repertory theater, and dance companies with beautiful facilities to showcase the productions and artists. Click here for a calendar of events.

Pioneer Heritage

Logan and the small communities of Cache Valley are great examples of early Mormon pioneer architecture with the Temple and Tabernacle as the center pieces. Other historic buildings worth checking out are the historic courthouse where the tourism office is located, and the Old Main Building on the campus of Utah State University.
